The Overeducated is a Baton Rouge-based improv troupe that loves music, theater, and movement. They play their unique brand of pseudointellectual, long-form, spontaneous comic performance. And yes, they've all gone to school for a long time! Friday Night

ImprovLSU

Friday and Saturday Night

ImprovLSU is Louisiana State University's official improv troupe. LSU Improv is a self-trained long-form improv troupe and a club with the Student Union performing Friday and Saturday Night and Friday afternoon at the Greek theater.

Casey Haeg is an improviser, performer and teacher from Minnesota. She has been performing in the Twin Cities since 2010. Jon Butts, from New Orleans, has been performing and coaching improv for over 10 years. Together, their mission is to support the New Orleans community through performance and education. Silverbacks Improv Theatre (Lafayette, LA) has been entertaining the Acadiana area for 11 years. Bringing their decades of combined experience to the stage, Silverbacks specialize in Narrative Improv, weaving stories that range from comedic to dramatic. Silverbacks also produce a monthly Improv Showcase, SuperCollider, which features Acadiana improvisers, sketch comedy, and standup comedians and regularly hosts visiting troupes, from Houston to New Orleans. Kristina was in ‘Best of the Fest’ at Burbank Comedy Festival ’22, a ‘21 Semi-Finalist in NYC Queer Comedy Festival (Yaaas Fest!), a ‘21 Finalist in the Comfy Comedy Clash, and performed the 2022 Portland Maine and Midwest Queer Comedy Festivals. Hailing from Baton Rouge, LA, Will Merrill has been performing stand-up comedy for over 12 years. He has performed across the gulf coast and has worked with touring comedians like Dulce Sloan, TK Kirkland, and Bob Kelly. In 2012, he was a regional finalist in the Stand Up, It’s Miller Time comedy competition hosted by Kevin Hart. In 2019, he released his debut comedy album Wirk: The Album which is available on all streaming platforms. Thursday Night

Alana J is an actor, comedian and teacher originally from NYC. She’s been seen on CBS’s Blue Bloods, and Power Book 3 on STARZ, and is the co-creator of the BET Digital Series Two Grown. In 2018, she was one of 9 out of thousands to be selected as a US Finalist for the ABC Discovers Digital Talent Competition. In 2022, her talents took her across the pond to perform as an actor and comic at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she opened for Chris Gethard. Trevor Chapman

Trevor is a Lafayette born, Spanish-Mexican raised comedian, actor and producer.  His comedy is an energetic wit about his life’s experiences.  When not on stage he is talking to himself in a park  or acting out foolish characters.

Marla Eyvette Massie

Thursday night

Marla Eyvette Massie is a standup comedian, actress, writer, and producer. When she is not serving up food and drinks at her day job, you can find her serving up jokes and laughs on stages all across the country. She travels extensively and has performed from Portland, OR to Portland, ME. In February 2021, she and several other up-and-coming Black female comedians were panelists on "Room For Discussion: Mentorship & Black Women in Comedy", as part of a joint collaboration with Facebook Messenger and Variety Magazine.
