"FunRaiser" at Boomerang Comedy Theater

This is going to be a comedy champagne toast mixer and fundraising event that will include ways to get your friends involved with the show! With a donation or gift you can put you friend on stage or get them lovingly roasted in front of the audience in a hilarious and class night of raising fun!

About the event
"FunRaiser": An event to support the Baton Rouge Improv Festival. In the week coming up to the festival, we give scholarships for shows and workshops and offer free training to people in our community. Our outreach includes highschooler, veterans, and anyone who can't afford to take improv classes or come to a show and laugh. Everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from the incredible transferable skills that have to be harnessed by fortune 500 companies and start-ups alike. The event at the new Boomerang Comedy Theater features stand-up comics and improvising comedy troupes. There will be an opportunity for the audience to bid for the chance to give suggestions and even buy opportunities to get their friends on stage. ( we will be nice unless otherwise instructed) and all in good fun. BRIF is a non Profit; the $50 ticket and the bidding will be tax-deductible. Champagne will flow, and there will be time to mingle and talk with the performers after the show. We promise a good time, many good laughs, and a lot of good Karma!
